Many brides-to-be can’t wait to get stuck into wedding planning when they become engaged, and fully embrace the challenge. If you’ve been drawing your dream dress, sketching your ideal venue and scrapbooking your colour scheme since you learned to walk, then congratulations. This is your time to shine. Go forth and conquer the biggest day of your life.
Otherwise, there are lots of great magazines and blogs out there to help get your imaginative juices flowing and thinking about the styles and themes you might like to incorporate into your wedding.
But what if it’s all a bit overwhelming? You’re over the moon that your fiance has popped the question, but you just don’t know what to do next.
You could hire a wedding planner, but for some couples this option might be too expensive.
She’s offering half-day workshops aimed at brides-to-be who want to plan their own wedding.
Sue says: “The idea is that many brides can’t afford a wedding planner and also want to plan it themselves with their mum, groom or bridesmaid and they can come along for an afternoon workshop with the experts to give them all the help and advice they need to get started.
“We make it really fun, friendly and informative and cover a whole range of subjects.”
The workshops cover:
♥ latest trends
♥ creative tips
The session ends with a Q&A session to make sure all your questions are answered.
The next workshop is on Sunday 20th November, 2-4pm at Rudding Park Hotel, Harrogate.
The cost for the bride is £50 and it’s £25 to bring someone – whether your mum, groom or a bridesmaid.
